31 girls made their way on a coach to Bath University on Friday 8th June. After a spot of lunch it was time for an intense 2 hour training session with Asha Francis, the ex Team Bath Captain. The girls were fantastic and showed great enthusiasm and skills.
It was then time for some well earned dinner where we treated ourselves to some freshly cooked pizza from a little restaurant on the University Campus.
Shortly after we took our seats for what turned out to be a very exciting netball match, Bath lost 43-42 in a nail biting finish to Loughborough Lightening. The ECS girls were a pleasure to have in the crowd, cheering with their banners and pom poms. They got fully involved in the excitement of the match and we even had a representative from ECS, Hannah G, involved in the shoot out at half time, which she won!
